This lovely beach is the top spot for beach life in Dubai.  The white sands and calm sea make it an ideal spot to chill on a beach day!

Jumeirah Beach stretches down the coast south of the city's historic district to the junction with The Palm Jumeirah, it then terminates between the southern end of the Jumeirah Beach Residence and the port facilities at Jebel Ali. The area is dotted with hotels along its length and is one of the most popular places to stay for the visitors to Dubai

Jumeira Beach offers very good has facilities including sunloungers and restaurants spread intermitently.  The beach also has some watersports operators that provide Jetski and other activity options.

Dubai is often considered as a city break holiday destination and the beach side overlooked but its worth remembering the warm Persian Gulf waters and the mild winter temperature that offer some of the best beach and relaxation escapes from the cold north European winters temperatures.

A short distance from the beach is Majlis Ghorfat Um Al-Sheef which was constructed in 1955 as a summer residence for the late Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed al-Maktoum. The former residnece has been recently restored and you can once again experience some of the luxury and oppulence associated with wealthy Dubai life.
