The Burj Khalifa is the iconic symbol of Dubai and a world famous attraction. The building, completed in 2010, stands at 829.8 metres tall and as such is the tallest building in the world. 

The building itself is impressive beyond words but the senses are awakened way before setting foot inside in the wonderful landscaping surrounding the building.  The gardens are threaded with walkways to explore and discover the balanced integration of gardens and water features. 

The highlight water feature is the Dubai Fountain which is the worlds tallest performing fountain, a photo opportunity must.  The fountain was modeled on ones in Las Vegas -Bellagio.

The Burj Khalifa holds several world records:

  • It boasts the highest number of stories in the world
  • It hosts the highest occupied floor in the world
  • It has the highest outdoor observation deck in the world
  • It has the elevator with the longest travel distance in the world
  • And finally the tallest service elevator in the world!

A must do for visitors to Dubai is to visit the observation deck in the Burj Khalifa located 124 floors up in the sky, it is an amazing experience to have a birds eye view of the city and its wonders. Access the observation deck using high speed elevators and enjoy the spectacular views, night or day.  The observation deck offers a 360 degree vista across the city, the ocean and the desert.
